Hydro kinetic self propelling paddle


Throughout the human history man has their community ties to body of water. This is the first of it kind of attempt to apply the principle of sailing watercraft; however instead of using the wind (aero kinetic power) to drive the boat; we use the water current as the driving force.

Step1: Building a pair of paddles as the following pictures illustrate - You don't have to do with the exact contour, but a similar will works.

  • Just tie them up as the above illustration; Need not to paddle or using any kind of engine/force.
  • And obviously, it can goes anywhere in the between.

As the note:

  • This is a 'by-product' when we develop our hydro turbine. We need some mechanism to keep the device  in place without too much tension to the cable that hold the device to the river bank.
  • It's was our omission when we build those paddles it's very hard to keep them at the desired angle; they turn.
  • The last; the bottom  illustration has not been tested; theoretically it works; even better; It's allow to steer the direction just by simple steering the wing facing the desired direction.

Further development could be applied to rescue boat and others . . . .
